THE CROWN CHAKRA –Unity

If there is a lot of mental turbulence in the brow chakra the crown chakra will suffer. If one has not developed the three grounding lower chakras and has just a developed crown chakra they can appear dreamy, flighty and disconnected from earthly reality. Long plane trips, entering different time zones can unbalance the crown chakra. When all the chakras are balanced, there is a wonderful feeling of peace and joy with no questions about the dance of life, just a tranquil knowing.

The brow Chakra gives us the ability to transcend our thoughts and be able to receive more subtle energies e.g. telepathy, physic abilities. If there is too much intellectual rationalization, the chakra will be shrunken, and the power play of the stomach chakra will be acted out resulting in probable fears, greed, jealousies.

THE THROAT CHAKRA -Expression.

It is thought that all the information from the other chakras is metabolised and put back together again by the throat chakra, thereby creating ones own unique expression. The main issues involving the throat chakra include not speaking ones truth and being too outspoken. The latter leading to lack of intimacy and being unable to “receive” others truth. A balanced throat chakra allows one time to give and receive, to be able to communicate ones truth, including saying no and there also may be the added benefit of weight adjustment.
Position: Throat
Spiritual Aspect: Self Expression
Related Emotions: Speech. Communication. Speaking ones own truth. Self Discipline. Frustration. Freedom.

THE HEART CHAKRA – Love.

Posted December 5, 2008 by pennyfox
Categories: Quantum Wellness

A developed, balanced heart chakra can allow one to “see, feel, hear and love” allowing one to make heart based decisions. A shrivelled chakra may be due to a broken heart. Having a heart chakra that is too large by loving too much and taking on others pain can become emotionally and energetically debilitating, stifling the development of both parties. It is thought that as the electrical waves produced by the heart are more powerful than anywhere else in the body, the heart not only pulls all the organs including the brain into synchronicity but also sends messages to the brain that the brain understands and obeys. The heart chakra can aid other chakras with timing, appropriateness and finesse.
Position: Center of Chest
Spiritual Aspect: Self-love
Related Emotions: Issues of love. Joy. Compassion. Sadness. Hurt. Depression & loneliness. Bitterness. Forgiveness. Wisdom of the Heart.
Level of Relationship: Loving Relationship with significant others, oneself and life.
Basic Need: To give and Take unconditionally
Endocrine Glands: Thymus
Associated Organs: Heart. Breasts. Lungs.
Associated Physiological functions: Circulatory. Immunity.
Colour: Green
Affirmation: I love others and myself unconditionally, both in the giving and in the receiving.

THE STOMACH (SOLAR PLEXUS) CHAKRA -Power.

The stomach chakra is profoundly impacted by external events. It is here that social expectations and parental influence are imprinted and take their toil. Creating the internal battle who am I, who should I be. The stomach chakra has a logical, left brain thought process that is entwined with identity, fears and the needs of the ego. If there is an imbalance and/or no connection with the sacral chakra one may be tormented with self hate as the chakra attempts to restructure a new identity as the adult rather than the spontaneous child of the sacral chakra.
Position: Between the tummy button and the ribs.
Spiritual Aspect: Self worth
Related Emotions: Anger. Resentment. Unworthiness. Guilt. Self Esteem.
Self Image. Issues of Responsibility
Level of Relationship: Basic Relationship With Inner Self
Basic Need: Valuing the needs of self.
Endocrine Glands: Pancreas. Adrenals.
Associated Organs: Liver. Spleen. Stomach. Small Intestine. Gallbladder. Kidneys
Associated Physiological functions: Inflammation. Digestion.
Colour: Yellow
Affirmation: I am worthy to live my life to the fullest, without fear or guilt, listening only to my own inner voice.

The Splenic/Sacral Chakra is a womb like nurturing abode that exudes innocence, purity, trust, beauty, laughter, joy, freedom and creative impulse. This chakra reveals the beauty of ones soul, the “me” as it was before being hardened with the tribulations of life. It is governed by faith and trust, not the linear intellectual mind. It is as if the umbilical cord is still attached and receiving spiritual information.  Within this chakra babies grow and imaginative projects germinate.Imbalances may show as a drive to be strong, which may lead to feelings of inadequacy within social situations.Position: The lower abdomen – to the tummy ( Belly) button.Spiritual Aspect: Self Respect-allowing space for our creative impulses.Related Emotions: Sharing. The base chakra is a receiver for the Earth’s subtle energies, hence the word grounded. Base Chakra imbalances may show as aggression, hostility and/or an inability to rest, people that are always busy doing something, hate waiting, fidgety with an over active mind. They live in the future and the past, often missing out on the pleasures of the moment. A balanced base chakra can exude safety and grounded ness making others feel secure.

Chakras

The word Chakra means disk, vortex or wheel. It can be a spiralling swirling energy centre. These centres are recognized worldwide. In Yogic centres of India they are called Chakras, in the Huna tradition of Hawai they are called Auw centres, in Cobala, they are the tree of life centres and in the Taoist Chinese tradition they are known as Dantien. When energy is being given to the chakras the electrical field above the chakras can be measured in the frequency of 100 to 1,600 cycles per second, as contrasted with 0 to 100 in the brain, 225 in the muscle, and 250 in the heart. There is much discussion as to how many chakras exist. It is commonly accepted that there are seven, positioned from the base of the spine to the crown of the head. It has been found though that spiralling vortexes may appear anywhere where energy is needed for repair.Ones physical, psychological and spiritual journey past and present is energetically coded within the Chakras, thereby making each chakra entirely unique.  Each has seven levels that have forever changing light and colour. Wisdom from past lifetimes is stored in the seventh deepest layer. Each Chakra influences every part of the body. Because of this the endocrine system, moods, personality and general well being are also influenced.Chakras are influenced by external and internal energies. Each chakra connects with each other, the universal energy and has a soul task. The link between the crown chakra and the base chakra is via the spinal cord.  Realigning and balancing the vertebral column provides a clear passage for the soul’s energy.

A cute little friend

As I sat in my private room last night…….I felt a plop on my head. I screamed and ran falling over in the bathroom….I gingerly crept back in to the private room and there was this cute little fellow looking quizzingly at me…

This was past midnight. My initial reaction was to put him in the garden …..But there is an alligator in the lake at the bottom of the garden (yard) and I had been hearing the "ow, ow, ow" sounds of an alligator call all evening…probably another tree frog calling his mate! "Rraark, rraark, rraark!"

I settled with putting a plant in the bath for him and went to bed….My cute little friend is now happily on a banana tree.

I decided as one does with a morning cup of tea, to look deeper into the meaning of a frog!

Frogs in Shamanism are living reminders of rain and fertility and represent transformation and rebirth…..l’ll accept that ..

Thank you the powers that be.. transformation / rebirth /growth – are similar…..definitely!!!!

Warmly

P.S. The alligator is only a five foot+ babe too!

Have you ever read about hyper and hypoglycaemia  (high and low blood sugar) and thought that sounds like me?

Have you suffered symptoms that suddenly arrive? Mental ones of confusion, forgetfulness, difficulty concentrating, mind goes blank. Emotional ones where you get impatient, irritable, irrational, depressed, unstable, even tearful. Physical ones where you might become dizzy, suffer blurred or double vision, fatigue, sweats, headaches, aches or pains?Have you noticed that these symptoms appear maybe two or more hours after eating?

Feeling a few of the above have you then delighted in a coffee, a cigarette, or that heavenly bar of chocolate to enable you to roller coaster along to find …oh that dip! so you yet again grab that coffee, chocolate, cigarette.

If this is the case than its time to jump off and stabilise.

What is happening you might well be asking?

All carbohydrates are converted into glucose by the digestive processes before entering the blood. There are two types of carbohydrates, simple which is the sweet sugars regularly made into refined processed foods and complex which include the grains, vegetables and legumes. Under normal circumstances the pancreas reacts to the blood sugar by producing insulin. The insulin takes the blood sugar to the cells to provide energy for the entire body.

The regulation of blood sugar is a constant balancing act.

Too many simple carbohydrates can make the pancreas over react and produce too much insulin. This will produce a high and then the low of hypoglycaemia. Over time this can exhaust the pancreas so that it then becomes unable to make enough insulin. This results in the condition hyperglycaemia and then possibly diabetes.

Now for the whammy. This is traditional thinking and although correct, there is a new addition. Research has found that the problem may not just be the carbohydrate (although commonly it is) but that it could be evoked  by ones reactions to foods and substances of all types. This includes fats, proteins, chemicals such as petrochemical hydrocarbons and even tobacco. These may all equally evoke abnormal sugar levels curves in susceptible people owing to bioindividual hypersensitivity.

How we can create a balance:

Recognition of food/substance sensitivity to enable elimination from lifestyle. We can do this with my EPFX – SCIO Technology.

Have at least three whole-food meals a day, with a big breakfast and small frequent snacks containing protein and oils.

Stop the stimulants! Caffeine, alcohol, sugar, processed foods, cigarettes etc.Dilute fruit juices.

Adequate exercise.

Accelerate recovery with vitamins and mineralsAnd finally de-stress, have fun, love yourself, don’t be the victim and always stay positive.

Warmly
